Yaz and Yasmin
Yaz and Yasmin are oral contraceptives manufactured by Bayer. The birth control medications have been linked to an increased risk of PEs, blood clots, venous strokes, deep vein thrombosis, and cardiac arrest incidents.
Lawsuits have been filed against Bayer, the manufacturer of Yaz and Yasmin. The majority of Yaz and Yasmin cases were resolved in a 2013 settlement. However, some plaintiffs have not resolved their claims. Litigation is being pursued in California JCCP case No. 4608 on behalf of women who have not yet been compensated for harm.
